The standardization of biodegradable plastics in China is relatively late. In the early stage, it is mainly modified based on the advanced foreign standards, or directly equivalent to the use of foreign standards. At present, the standard of biodegradable plastics in China is still relatively backward.
For example, the national standard GB/T 19277.1-2011 and GB/T 19277.2- for the determination of biodegradability of plastics under controlled composting conditions
In 2013, it was translated by equivalent international standards ISO 14855-1:2005 and ISO 14855-2:2007 respectively. These two international standards have been replaced by ISO 14855-1:2012 and ISO 14855-2:2015 respectively, but China has not updated them accordingly.
For another example, the standard method for determining the anaerobic biodegradation capacity of plastics is only tested in water-based culture medium (GB/T 32106-)
2015), and can also be measured internationally in urban sewage sludge and other environments.
Therefore, China should accelerate the construction of the standard system of biodegradable plastics, so as to guide enterprises to produce biodegradable plastics conforming to the standard.
In addition, in the biodegradable plastic testing and certification, China has not been generally recognized by the third party certification body, biodegradable plastic production
Product also temporarily lack of unity easy to identify the logo.In the future, the relevant marks in China need to be further recognized abroad.
