Demand for gels and alcohol sanitizers to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus is growing rapidly, leading to an increase in demand for plastic packaging, according to Thailand's commerce minister for international trade negotiations.
Thailand's exports of plastic packaging totaled about $450 billion in the first two months of 2020, up 19 percent in the same period, the data showed.A China has the highest growth rate of 175%.Next came the us, up 163 per cent.Next came asean, up 22%.Asean remains the most important export market, with 40 per cent, followed by Japan with 21 per cent and China with 12.5 per cent.
