Procter & Gamble Plans To Cut Back On Plastic Packaging In Europe

P&g's European fabric care business is also committed to fully recyclable packaging for all brands by 2022, according to virginie helias, p&g's chief sustainability officer.

The move will be crucial to p&g's commitment to reduce fresh plastic packaging by 50 per cent by 2030.By 2025, the p&g brand will use 15,000 fewer tonnes of plastic per year than it did in 2018, the company said.

It is understood that the company is trying to expand recycling demand by further increasing the use of post-consumer recycled materials (PCR) in its branded packaging, which now accounts for 50% of the plastic packaging.

"Solving the plastic problem is everyone's responsibility, and we are determined to move forward with the circular economy," said Volker Kuhn, p&g's vice-president of fabric care.


Talking about the powder scoop, it will be using for different detergent brands, but 


DEXUAN BIO GROUP already produced the 100% compostable scoop instead of normal plastic scoop.

It is more nature and eco-friendly option to go ahead.
